Why are family photos precious?
Family photos are very important to me because they are so precious and rare especially for my family. My parents got divorced when I was a little girl so the only complete family photos we had was when my siblings and I were still very young. I treasure those photos as they are priceless. Nowadays, it can be pretty challenging for us to get a proper and decent family photo that included both parents and all my siblings. Simply because everyone is on a different continent around the world! Family gatherings are much harder for us as you can imagine.
I truly cherish family photos that I had together with my parents when I was little. They are very special to me as I get to relive that memory and walk down memory lane. As my brother said, our baby photos are memories when we were little, so as we grow up, we remember what we did or experienced as babies. They capture wonderful moments with your loved ones. Family photos also capture important milestones that happened in our family such as when my family grew from a family of 2 to 5. The photos are very precious to me and I will treasure them forever.
My sister said that family photos are important because the photo has everyone that you love captured in a special and intimate moment. I absolutely agree and our family photos are even more precious now because everyone is living abroad. Whenever we get together as a family, it is very special and rare, definitely a moment that we want to remember forever. As we all grow older and wiser, every moment we spend together is priceless and deserves to be commemorated.
As I grew older, I finally understood the importance of having professional family photos done. It captures more than just a memory, it freezes a moment in time that you can always revisit. As the photographer in the family, I made a promise to photograph my family every chance that I get to going forward!
