Katherine & Justin // Surprise Marriage Proposals
It was such a pleasure to photograph Justin’s surprise proposal to Katherine at Cahill Park. Justin picked a specific spot by Cooks River because it is part of their weekly Sunday routine to go for a walk around the gorgeous park. I still remember the discussions we had on the phone and could sense how nervous Justin was leading up to the big day. It was amazing that he had his best friend and Kat’s best friend involved in the planning and setup of the proposal.
Kat had the cutest reaction to the proposal. She was super shocked to see what was happening as the letters ‘MARRY ME’ were laid out on the deck. She was digesting what was happening and as Justin got down on one knee and proposed to her, she jumped up and down in excitement.
