Happy Leap Day!!!

Happy Leap Day everyone!! 29th February only comes once every four years, so today is a very special day for many people I am sure! It could be your birthday, wedding day, or even a special engagement day. I was fascinated to learn that in Ireland, women are allowed to propose to their suitor on the 29th February for good luck.

The 29th of February is especially special to me because my sister is a leap year baby! She’s technically only 7 years old in leap year terms, but she’s 28 today!! She’s currently living in Amsterdam so it makes it a bit more challenging for us to celebrate her special day, but thanks to Face Time, I am still able to see her and wish her HAPPY BIRTHDAY all the way from Sydney!!

I still remember vividly when we were little kids, people would always mistake us as twins as my parents would always dress us in the exact same outfits, including any hair accessories, dresses and all the way down to shoes! To avoid any lengthy explanations, mom would always just say YES! Let me share some baby photos of us so that you can see what I mean.

Check out the pink dresses that both my sister and I wore many many moons ago, paired with a lovely white ruffled socks. I believe that was a trend then!

In this photo on the right, it looks like my brother got roped in as you can see all three of us are wearing the same type of shoes!!

… and just for final giggles, here’s another one where my sister and I are wearing the exact same dress and shoes! Also, looks like I love to shop ever since I was a kid!

Nowadays, we tend to match in outfits too, but in different ways as you can see.
