Claudette & Brandon // Surprise Proposal Sydney

I love this proposal story simply because of the intricacy that goes into planning the surprise proposal. Several people were involved and I mostly liaised with Brandon’s mom because Brandon is a very busy guy due to his job. He told his mom what he was after and his mom helped him with the research and contacted various vendors to make the proposal special. Claudette in the meantime had no idea that any of this was happening!

When I talked to Brandon’s mom, she told me that she’s super excited and nervous at the same time planning the whole proposal for Brandon as there were many things that needed to be done. I can only imagine that! She mentioned that on the proposal date, there will be 2 surprises for Claudette. The main one being the surprise proposal and the second one was a surprise appearance of her family and Brandon’s family to celebrate their engagement.

So how did the proposal happen? Brandon told Claudette that they were going to the city to have nice dinner at O Bar. With that prompt, Claudette knew that she had to dress up for the occasion. Little did she know that her life was going to change forever. In the private dining room, there were big letters spelling out “ MARRY ME” with rose petals scattered around it and beautiful candles setting up the ambiance of the room. I was on standby, eagerly waiting for their arrival to document Claudette’s reaction to the proposal.
